¿QUIÉN SON ESOS CUATRO QUE ESTÁN HABLANDO CON DIOS?
THE BEATLES.EL FENÓMENO.
1.INTRODUCCIÓN
Un día John Lennon aseguró que eran más famosos que Jesucristo.Su amistad con Paul McCarthney,a la vez que la rivalidad entre ambos talentos por demostrar lo que llevaban dentro,logró crear algunos de los más grandes monumentos que el rock haya dado en su historia.
Entre triunfos y contradicciones la historia de los Beatles marca,con su música y la personalidad de sus componentes,las pautas de conducta del mundo en la década de los sesenta.
2.TAREA
Conocer la evolución del grupo británico desde sus comienzos hasta su disolución,poniendo en relación los cambios en su estilo musical y el contenido de algunas de sus letras con la evolución de su personalidad e ideología como grupo.
3.PROCESOS
El proceso se va a basar en el análisis de su música a través de la audición de los tres discos que se proponen,
recopilatorios de algunos de sus temas más señeros, que abarcan el total del marco cronológico de su producción discográfica,a saber:
“The Early Tapes of The Beatles”,con Tony Sheridan y los Beat Brothers (1960-63)
“The Beatles.1962-1966”
“The Beatles.1967-1970”
Se propone,asímismo, el análisis de las letras de tres temas, sucesivos cronológicamente, como muestra de su evolución ideológica y actitudinal. Además, como los propongo en su idioma original, aprovecháis para practicar el inglés:

“Eleanor Rigby”,de Abril de 1966
“I am the Walrus”,de Diciembre de 1967.

4. RECURSOS
Os propongo los títulos de varios libros que podéis utilizar como ayuda para entrar en materia sobre el tema. No es obligatorio que los leáis íntegramente(aunque seguro que alguno os engancha) sino que pretendo que os sirvan de apoyo en algún momento de la tarea, tanto para comprender cuestiones del grupo en particular como otras relativas a las interacciones entre el grupo y su tiempo. 5. EVALUACIÓN
La evaluación se basará en el debate y puesta en común de las conclusiones que se han sacado a través de la realización de los procesos propuestos,así como en la capacidad que cada uno,en la audición de los distintos álbumes mencionados,haya adquirido para identificar y adscribir,por su estilo musical,una serie de temas a su momento de creación.
6. CONCLUSIÓN
El objetivo que se ha pretendido lograr con esta actividad es el de tener un acercamiento general hacia los Beatles, un grupo del que todos hemos oído hablar en numerosas ocasiones y que indudablemente ha supuesto un hito, si bien el fin último y deseable sería el haber despertado en los alumnos el interés por un momento de la historia social e ideológica trascendental en la conformación de nuestras mentalidades, a través de una de las manifestaciones culturales más ricas y atractivas, la música.
